The iPhone 15 Pro will be Apple's biggest iPhone upgrade in three years
Hispider news: The iPhone 15 Pro series is expected to be Apple's biggest iPhone upgrade in three years, with thinner bezels, a new camera system and more.
The upcoming iPhone 15 Pro series will feature thinner bezels, a step toward Apple's dream of an edge-to-edge iPhone. To this end, Apple will use a new LIPO technology on the display of the iPhone 15 Pro series models to reduce the size of the bezel around the display to 1.5 mm. In comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro model has a screen bezel of about 2.2mm.
In addition to the narrower bezels, Apple's upcoming iPhone 15 and 15 Pro series will also get the biggest upgrade since 5G capabilities were added three years ago. Among them, the iPhone 15 Pro series will be equipped with a faster 3nm A17 Bionic chip. Apple is also said to have replaced the stainless steel frame with titanium, which is stronger, lighter, and of higher quality.
The iPhone 15 Pro series will continue to feature a frosted glass back, but the edges that connect the sides to the front will not be as sharp as before. The new phone will also include a new action button that can be customized to trigger a variety of tasks, such as starting the camera, turning on the flashlight, turning on accessibility features or translating text. It is worth mentioning that all four new iphones this year will switch to USB Type-C ports.
The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will have a larger 48MP sensor that can capture more light. Among them, the iPhone 15 Pro Max has also added a new 12MP stealth lens to the three-camera combination, supporting up to 6x optical zoom. The iPhone 15 Pro may come with a 12MP 3x optical zoom lens.
