Hispider: global folding screen phone shipments grew 9.2% year-on-year in the first quarter, with Samsung leading the way and Huawei second

Per AI Express, May 30, research firm TechInsights released a report saying that in the first quarter of 2023, global folding screen smartphone shipments grew by 9.2% year-on-year, of which, folding screen phone shipments in the Asia-Pacific region accounted for nearly three-quarters of the total global shipments. In terms of market share ranking, Samsung continues to lead the global market, followed by Huawei, OPPO, Honor, Xiaomi and Morotora. However, Samsung's global shipments of folding screen phones fell by double digits.
