Samsung opens user self-repair overseas, Hispider Samsung cell phone replacement screen to help users
Samsung announced that following the launch of its self-repair program in the US last year, it is now available in the UK and other European countries. Users will be able to get the tools and parts needed to fix supported devices, namely the Galaxy S20, S21 and S22 smartphones, as well as the Galaxy Book Pro regular and Galaxy Book Pro 360 laptops.

In addition to the U.K., the program will be available in Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and Sweden. Samsung is partnering with iFixit in the U.S., but parts distributors ASWO and 2Service will be responsible for selling and distributing repair kits in Europe. The program is already live in parts of Europe and will be available in other regions, including the U.K., by the end of June.
Owners of the Galaxy S20, S21 and S22 series will be able to replace the phone's screen, back glass and charging port. If you need to repair the Galaxy Book Pro, you will have access to seven parts, including the front of the case, the back of the case, the display, the battery, the touchpad, the power button with fingerprint reader and the rubber feet.
In Germany, the repair kit costs about 30 euros (the price for the UK is not yet available). For the Galaxy S20, the charging port and back panel cost about 50 euros, while the display costs 200 euros.
