Realme phones will also slow down business in Germany
Hispider news: Foreign media Nextpit reports that realme phones will also slow down operations in the German market due to Nokia's patent lawsuit in Germany.
Realme did not explicitly say in communications with its editorial staff that they would be pulling out of the German market, but the outcome should be similar. The office responsible for realme's European affairs claims that business in Germany has "slowed down" after some internal consultation and pending Nokia litigation. They are still waiting for positive news about licensing negotiations with Nokia so that they can resume the marketing measures taken in Germany.
However, before that they will shift their budgets to other European markets. As a result, the recently launched realme 11, realme 11 Pro and realme 11 Pro+ phones may not appear on German store shelves.
Before this, also due to Nokia's patent lawsuit, vivo announced only a week ago that it had suspended sales in the German market; OPPO's German website has also been almost emptied.
