PPI is the number of pixels per inch. pixels per inch indicates the number of pixels per inch. The area of the screen calculated by diagonal is not reliable, so the PPI obtained by dividing the number of pixels by the diagonal size cannot truly reflect the real resolution of the screen. Therefore, the pixel density of the screen calculated in this paper adopts the number of pixels of the screen divided by the calculated area, and only the first three digits of the result are taken because the resulting number is longer. This calculation method can better reflect the fine screen. In order to distinguish it from PPI, I named it PPA (pixels per area), which is the number of pixels per unit area.
At the same time, we need to take into account that Amoled screens are arranged in pentile, so the pixel density is 2/3 of the ordinary, so the mobile phone PPA of the Amoled screen in the following example will be multiplied by 2/3. Finally mark PPA. At the same time, Huawei's Sharp White Magic screen due to the use of white pixels, while sharing the reason of blue pixels, the resolution is 91% of the actual pixel density, so its PPA will also be increased by 91% on the original basis.
