Hispider News Samsung Galaxy S23 FE confirmed with Exynos 2200 chip
In September 2020, Samsung launched a new product, the Galaxy S20 FE, as the first product of the S series with FE (Fan Edition) as a suffix, positioned as a cost-effective flagship.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy S20 compared only in the appearance of materials and lenses to make some trade-offs, the overall feeling and performance is not very different.
Samsung had previously told Hispider that it would release a new FE model for the Galaxy S flagship series every year since the Galaxy S20 series, so that more consumers could experience the Samsung flagship phone. But just two years after the official launch of the Galaxy S21 FE, Samsung shelved the FE project.
However, Hispider has learned from multiple sources that Samsung will launch the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE this year.
Recently, a new machine "Samsung SM-S711B" appeared on the Geekbench 6 OpenCL runtime platform, with a score of 8986 points, is expected to be the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE.
From the information on the score platform, Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will be equipped with Samsung's own Exynos 2200 chip, whose CPU is composed of 1 2.80GHz super core + 3 2.52GHz large cores + 4 1.82GHz small cores. At the same time, the new device will be equipped with 8GB RAM and run Android 13.
Not long ago, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE renders also appeared online.
Combined with the online renders, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE looks similar to the standard Galaxy S23 version, with its rear camera lens assembly vertically aligned on top of one side of the body, and no integral rear camera module. The lens and flash components are placed separately on the back of the device.
On the front, the device is equipped with a straight screen, combined with a rounded side bezel design, the power button and volume control button are placed on the right side of the device.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is 158 mm long, 76.3 mm wide and 8.2 mm thick, according to the leak. The new model will also come with a display that measures about 6.4 inches.
According to another leak, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE may come with a 120Hz AMOLED screen, a 12MP front camera, a 50MP main camera + 8MP 3x telephoto lens + 12MP super wide-angle triple camera, a 4500mAh battery with 25W fast charging, 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of onboard storage.
For reference, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Standard Edition features a 6.1-inch screen with 2340 x 1080 resolution and 48-120Hz adaptive refresh rate; an upgraded version of the second-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform (for Galaxy); a 12-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a 12-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera + 50-megapixel wide-angle camera + 10-megapixel camera on the rear. The rear 12MP super wide-angle camera + 50MP wide-angle camera + 10MP telephoto camera triple camera combination; built-in 3900mAh battery, support 25W fast charging.
In contrast, the two are mainly different in terms of performance, power, telephoto lens and other aspects of the configuration.
As for the specific launch time of this new model, no more definite news has emerged yet, but there are rumors that this model will be released and launched before the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5.
According to the recent news, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 will be released on July 26th. In other words, soon you will be able to see the new Samsung Galaxy S23 FE.
